Welcome to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Concord!  With 75 years of experience in the youth development field, we'll do whatever it takes to help kids reach their full potential!

Our Clubs provide before and after school programs to hundreds of kids each week.  We also run summer camps and an intramural basketball league (in Concord.)

We're a non-profit organization with a mission to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens.

Meaningful Opportunities

We are not just a place for kids to "hang out"!  Each afternoon, your child will participate in structured activities and curricula.  Our core program areas include the arts, educational enrichment, leadership development, life-skills programming and technology.

Children's safety is our highest priority.  All our sites are state-licensed and follow strict protocols for staff screening and training.  At the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Concord:

  • FBI Fingerprint Background Checks are conducted on every volunteer and staff member.

  • Adults are prohibited from being alone with one minor.  This includes all of our service sites, bus rides to and from the Club, mentoring services, etc.

  • Adults are not to be alone with a child in the bathroom with the door closed and are never to be in a closed stall with a child.

  • All staff receive training on sexual harassment, sexual grooming and signs of child sexual abuse.

  • All staff receive and review policies and procedures, including the employee toolkit and policy manual updated annually.

  • All program staff are required to receive a minimum of 18 hours of professional development each year.

  • The organizational chart has been restructured to include a COO, who will focus on staff training and supervision.
